Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst

A new interview with Daisuke Komoto, Producer of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, has revealed some rather troubling information! You may read the full interview below, it contains information about the PC release of Full Burst, as well as CyberConnect2′s goals for Full Burst, and whether or not you will be able to play the game with your keyboard and mouse!

Interviewer: I know my readers would want me to ask about the Edo Tensei kage. Will they be playable in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst?

Daisuke Komoto, Producer: We will not have Edo Tensei kage playable in Full Burst.

Interviewer: Why not?

Daisuke: [Laughs] Instead of the Edo Tensei characters, we wanted to focus on making a new character for Full Burst, Sage Mode Kabuto.

Interviewer: What is Sage Mode Kabuto like as a character?

Daisuke: We added a new storyline into the game for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, which is Kabuto vs. Itachi and Sasuke. This battle was in the original series and we are going to bring that storyline into Full Burst. Do you remember the Sound Four? Kabuto is hiding those characters inside of him. Exactly what you see in the manga are the special attacks Kabuto will be able to use in Full Burst. Also, he has the power and abilities of Orochimaru, so he can attack using snakes.

Interviewer: This is the first Ultimate Ninja game for PC. Was it difficult to port it?

Daisuke: We have never brought a Naruto game to PC before this. The Ultimate Ninja Storm series requires high spec PCs since the game has high quality graphics. It has been very challenging to port the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series to PC.

Interviewer: How will PC gamers be able to play it?

Daisuke: Maybe through a PC connected gamepad.

Interviewer: What if they don’t have a gamepad? Like can you use a keyboard and mouse?

Daisuke: I don’t think so, but the game is still under development and we will do our best.

Interviewer: I saw the comparison screenshots and it looks like CyberConnect2 spent quite a bit of time refining the graphics. Usually for enhanced games, we just get rebalancing and extra characters. Why did the team spend more time polishing the game visually for Full Burst?

Daisuke: The development team really wanted to spend more time on the visuals and graphics beautiful, but from a business perspective we have a release date for Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. Because of that, there are things we could complete and things we couldn’t complete during the development time. We wanted to bring all of the elements of what we as the development team wanted to do for Full Burst. This is our vision so we call this part the “Director’s Cut.”

Interviewer: Will there be anymore downloadable characters or content specifically for Full Burst?

Daisuke: If you own Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, you can get Full Burst as DLC. At the moment, we don’t have plans to have additional DLC characters or content for Full Burst.
