There are many fans that understand it, and even during my time in DDT, I was a lender talent, so I was able to do Best of Super Juniors, we had done the junior tags together, Ibushi and myself, we had some great matches against Apollo 55... and... they, the way that they look at it, is that, it's kind of... it's kind of from a, a past that they don't want to go back to, and they don't have any official involvement with DDT, so they don't want to remind fans that there was this time when they were both in DDT, and that they were this DDT tag-team."

"They kind of want to, sort of be, you know, 'we're New Japan, and this is our own thing, and Kenny Omega as far as we're concerned, was born as The Cleaner in New Japan, and now Ibushi coming back is this new Ibushi, and that's it. What happened before doesn't really matter,' but they're slowly realizing that people do remember this history. And even if they don't, even if they weren't there to see it, the fans are, they're finding the study material. They're looking back, they're seeing that there is this connection, that there is this relationship. And now they're thinking twice about, just kind of tossing the match together because it's two athletic guys, now it's like 'oh, there's actual feelings involved.' And, I keep telling them, this is a chance to really, hit home with an emotionally impactful match, rather than just, 'ok, you got a guy that's a great high-flyer and a guy that throws some knees,' it has to be more than just that, it has to be."
