– Triple H held his quarterly NXT conference call today, here are some highlights…

* Triple H started off by thanking everyone, which he always does, and says that this week is a historic one for the NXT brand.

* He was originally against running at the Barclays Center because he simply thought the venue was too big. They started seating at 6,000 and it went so quick that they opened up more seating. If you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere.

* Triple H says that he doesn’t know many entertainment properties that can sell out the same venue (Barclays) three night sin a row.

* He did confirm that some of the matches taking place that night will be taped for NXT TV.

* The WWE Performance Center All Access will see 40 fans get a tour of the center; they will get to watch training and take part in promo class.

* He has no desire for NXT to be like Raw or Smackdown, they are their own brand that caters to their own audience.

* He says one of the strengths of NXT is the fact that stars are graduating to the main roster and that they are able to continue on and make new stars. He says that the talent moving along and even sometimes coming back allows for them to not get stale.

* In regards to the NXT ladies, he feels like a proud father. He saw them go from their infancy and are now being recognized world wide.

* When asked about running head to head with ROH on Saturday, he said that running Saturday was a better business decision and they aren’t looking or anyone to fail.

* He is asked about Evolve, he said that they are looking for quality events and shows that can help support the wrestling business overall. He said the indies and other entities under WWE are important to the health of the business; he doesn’t want to see anyone fail but he is going to do what’s right for WWE’s business. If it effects someone else’s business plan, he can’t help that because his primary duty is to WWE’s business.

* Triple H is asked about NXT doing the same attendance as Raw and Summerslam, noting that every time they jump a new hurdle that the company becomes more comfortable with NXT as their own brand.

* He wants to do an NXT show in England. While he did not confirm anything, he noted that they are hoping to run NXT events the weekend of major WWE PPVs.

* He again thanked us for joining the call and for supporting the NXT brand.
